This is 6km. north of the village of Grignols,

 and 14km. east of the town of Bazas.

It is within 15 minutes of the A62 Autoroute (Bordeaux—Toulouse) .

There are train stations in Langon 20km, in La Reole 20km.; and in Marmande 30km.

 

 

Directions from Bordeaux.(1 hr.)

 

1. Take A62 from Bordeaux, direction  ‘Toulouse’.

2. Take Sortie (exit) 4, ‘La Reole’.

3. Exit A62 toll, (left), direction ‘Bazas’.

4. Drive to ‘Aillas’, in centre, at crossroads, take (left) direction ‘Sigalens’.

5. Drive through Sigalens, direction ‘Bazas’. Cossroads at 2.5km, take left, sign              ‘gasconmanoir.com’.         Voila!!!

 

 

Directions from Bergerac.(90 mins.)

 

1. Take the road signed ‘Mont-De-Marsan’.

2. In Marmande, follow the Bordeaux ‘A62’ blue autoroute signs.

3. At 2 km take right at roundabout signed ’Cocumont’.

4. Drive through Cocumont, take road signed    Grignols’.

5. At 2km take right, signed ‘Sigalens’.

6. At 3 km take left at small crossroads.

7. At 3km take right at Monclaritz.

8. Drive up hill. Manoir Caubeyran on left.              Voila!!!

 

 

Directions from Toulouse.(2 hr.)

 

1. Take A62 from Toulouse, direction  ‘Bordeaux’.

2. Take Sortie (exit) 4, ‘La Reole’.

3. Exit A62 toll, (left), direction ‘Bazas’.

4. Drive to ‘Aillas’, in centre, at crossroads, take (left) direction ‘Sigalens’.

Aquitaine and the Gironde, with excellent road and rail links, are very easily accessed by car or train. Bordeaux is an approximate 8 hour drive from either Cherbourg or Calais, and the TGV train from Paris to Bordeaux will have you in there in 3 hours.

Traveling to the Gironde has never been easier.

 

Most of the budget airlines have inexpensive daily flights to the region. Aer Lingus  flies to Bordeaux and Toulouse from Dublin. Ryan Air fly Dublin to Biarritz.

 

Bmi Baby fly to Bordeaux from Manchester and Nottingham. Ryanair fly to Bergerac, La Rochelle and Biarritz, all within a couple of hours drive of Bordeaux. British European fly to Bordeaux from Bristol, or to Toulouse from Birmingham, and both British Airways and Air France fly to Bordeaux from various destinations in the UK.

 

The region is also accessible by car or train. Bordeaux is an approximate 8 hour drive from either Cherbourg or Calais, and the TGV train from Paris to Bordeaux will have you there in approx. 3 hours.
